Making Mail Green

We think mail is pretty powerful, or we wouldn’t be in this business. But we know not all mail is important. 76 billion pieces of junk mail are sent every year.

That mail doesn’t just annoy people. It hurts our environment. Let’s fix that.

Our plan to make mail green

We automatically recycle 100% of our customers' junk mail, along with any other mail they don’t want a physical copy of. This adds up to 12,000 pounds of paper recycled each week. But we can do more.

We’ve partnered with the National Forest Foundation to plant trees in areas across the United States that need reforestation the most. When you sign up for a virtual mailbox with Earth Class Mail, we plant a tree for you.

We’ve committed to become a carbon neutral business by the end of 2022.

We’re building a sustainable company for our customers. We’ve partnered with GreenFeet to help us measure, analyze, and reduce our carbon footprint. To offset our environmental impact, we purchased carbon credits from Grassroots Carbon, which joins businesses like ours with farmers and ranchers to fund sustainable farming practices.

We proudly partner with:
