We think mail is pretty powerful, or we wouldn’t be in this business. But we know not all mail is important. 76 billion pieces of junk mail are sent every year.
That mail doesn’t just annoy people. It hurts our environment. Let’s fix that.
tons of waste yearly comes from junk mail
trees go to produce junk mail each year
of mail intended for recycling isn’t and ends up as garbage
pounds of mail are recycled each week at Earth Class Mail
We’ve recycled millions of pieces of mail on behalf of our customers and ensure it’s recycled properly. Each week, that amounts to 12,000 pounds of recycled mail. But we can do more.
For Earth Day 2021, we’ve partnered with the National Forest Foundation to plant one tree for each of our customers. We’re also purchasing carbon credits from Grassroots Carbon to offset our footprint, a step toward our goal of carbon neutrality by the end of 2022.
The mission will continue all year. Each time a new customer signs up for an Earth Class Mail account, we will donate another tree. It’s our way of thanking you for doing your part to make mail green.
Together, we can restore the Earth.
