Companies worldwide have been forced to respond to what is the fastest workforce change in our lifetime. Now that the genie is out of the bottle, it’s not likely to go back in - 80% of US employees say they would turn down a job that doesn’t offer remote working.ٰ
Remote work may have one seemed like a threat that impacted worker productivity, but on the contrary, workers feel more effective and employers benefit from both increased productivity and save overhead costs.
While some businesses can shift seamlessly to remote work, some aspects of the traditional office don’t make the transition as easily. How do you manage internal processes that need a physical location, like business mail processing, with remote workers? How do you receive and avoid the loss of important documentation and incoming checks while working from home? Virtual mailbox services can be an effective tool that gives you direct access to postal mail online. Let’s look at some effective ways to view and manage mail remotely with Earth Class Mail.
Access postal mail anywhere, anytime
With an Earth Class Mail virtual mailbox, you are no longer tied to a physical mailbox. You can choose from more than 80 addresses across the U.S. from San Diego to New York City and still get your postal mail from anywhere, at any time. Remote business mail works for thousands of companies such as Coinbase, Zapier, Lyft, and Shopify, who have trusted us with over 16 million pieces of mail and $1.8 billion in checks. We transform your mail from paper to digital so instead of paper you will have sharable and searchable PDFs stored on our secure cloud-based platform and available to you from any corner of the globe.
We also automate labor intensive processes from sorting and opening your postal mail and deliver the mail scanned into your account. We can also deposit checks in your bank of choice.
Access with any device
We provide multiple paths of entry, so it’s easy to access mail from anywhere and from any device. Access the mobile app, app.earthclassmail.com, from a laptop, mobile device or tablet. Alternatively, download our Android mobile app or the iOS mobile app from your mobile device.
Mobile app for getting postal mail
The Earth Class Mail mobile app, earthclassmail.com, is an easy to access yet secure cloud-based platform. The mobile app is the most robust and feature rich tool to manage a virtual mailbox. With a new dashboard view, it has become a customer favorite for it’s quick access to spot new mail, recent activity, the status of the services, plan details, usage, and the number of items incurring storage fees - all in one place.
The new 2021 Earth Class Mail Android app allows you to set notifications, receive mail remotely, see incoming mail, view scans of the exterior mail, and email the contents in a text-searchable PDF. You also have additional choices to archive, shred, and download to your favorite cloud provider, or store your mail in our warehouse - free the first 30 days or for an additional fee afterward.
We are currently working on adding more features to the Android app. Some features such as requesting shipments or check deposits, moving items between folders or another recipient are not available with the current release. These features and more will be developed iteratively in the next releases.
The iOS Mobile App for getting mail
The Earth Class Mail iOS App launched in 2019 . We’ve kept updating it so that now, the iOS app supports most of the same features as our web version. In addition, the iOS app allows you to choose from dark mode backgrounds, which reduces battery usage and improves visibility for users and allows you to login to your account using your Face ID - Apple’s facial recognition system.
With the same features as the iOS app version, the iOS tablet version also supports iPad views in both portrait and landscape modes.
That’s a wrap!
