Earth Class Mail offers a pay-as-you-go fee structure for mail and parcel storage that applies only to materials that our customers keep in storage for longer than 30 days. Mail and parcels left in inventory longer than 30 days are subject to the following monthly storage fees:
These fees are charged to the customer's account drawdown balance at each monthly billing-cycle closing date for as long as the items remain physically stored. Service requests (such as scanning and shipping) on any item in storage longer than 30 days have a two-business-day guaranteed turnaround time. While all service requests are always processed as soon as possible, priority will be given to items that have not moved to long-term storage.
Earth Class Mail costs a lot less than a safety deposit box or offsite records-storage service
Some of our residential customers use Earth Class Mail to securely store important documents and other items when they travel for extended periods, as it can be far cheaper and more convenient than using a safety deposit box at a fixed-location bank.
Many of our business customers use Earth Class Mail as a lower-cost alternative for offsite records storage because we do not charge any additional fees for depositing or extracting boxes of documents, we use only cost-effective common carriers and express carriers such as the U.S. Postal Service and FedEx rather than operating our own transportation fleet, and we never charge for shredding or recycling. Our service also has no “hostage fees” and no monthly minimum charges for storage. If your company pays for offsite record storage today, consider using Earth Class Mail as a cost-saving alternative.
