All Earth Class Mail facilities have robust physical security, with an additional perimeter of access restriction around the mail and check scanning areas. ECM employees are badged with coded IDs, and all entry into ECM buildings are recorded and monitored. Employee badges are also used to track the work performed by each employee. Employees are not permitted to take cameras, cell phones or any other recording devices into operations areas. Earth Class Mail servers are located in physically secure data centers.

Secure Online Access

We also provide maximum online security. All online communications, including downloads of scan images and PDF content files, are encrypted using the highest level of protection available today - 128-bit SSL. The URLs of images and files are encoded and only valid for a few minutes. For extra security and convenience we allow customers to use a digital certificate to log in as an alternative to a username and password.

Protecting You Against Fraud and Embezzlement

Earth Class Mail is one of the most powerful fraud prevention controls you can add to your business. Checks, invoices, EOBs, etc. are no longer physically handled on your site, therefore there is never an opportunity for them to be misdirected or altered. We keep a complete digital audit trail of every piece that comes in, every operation that is performed and who performed the operation.

Disaster Recovery

An additional benefit of Earth Class Mail is that you can have a secure digital backup of all the mail you have scanned. This will come in very handy if you ever need it, and it sure beats keeping everything as paper on your premises.
