How do I close my account?
To close an account, simply contact us by email or phone. We will verify your identity and arrange for the closure of your account.
Do you offer a refund?
We offer a money-back guarantee within the first 30 days after your sign-up date, which covers your first monthly plan and street address fees. If you’re closing more than 30 days after signing up, we can refund you only for a positive account balance, such as from a manual pre-payment.
Please note: This money-back guarantee does not include a refund of the account activation fee or other charges that are not included in the monthly plan fee but were carried out at your request during this 30-day period. This guarantee is only valid once per customer.
What do you do with mail that comes to a closed account?
If we receive mail for you after you’ve closed your account, US postal regulations require us to continue accepting it until six months after your closure date. Within the first two months, we hold onto this mail in case you decide to reopen your account. Once two months have passed, we’ll recycle any existing and incoming mail. At the end of the mandated six months, we’ll begin to refuse the new mail and return it to sender. Because of these policies and limitations, it’s important to directly contact anyone who’s sending mail to your Earth Class Mail address before you close it.
Is there a cancellation fee?
There are no long-term contracts to break or cancellation fees.
Can I pause or suspend my account?
At this time, there is not a way to suspend an account. Accounts that are closed can be reopened within a period of two months from closing. Reopening an account does require paying account fees that may accrue while the account is closed.
